Card Management Is Moving to Online Banking
A simpler way to manage your cards is coming August 25
Beginning August 25, 2026, Tampa Bay Federal members will no longer use the CardValet app to manage debit and credit cards.
Instead, card-management tools will be available securely inside Tampa Bay Federal’s Online and Mobile Banking experience, allowing you to manage your cards alongside your other accounts.

What You Need to Know.
- CardValet will no longer be used after August 25.
- You will not need to complete a separate registration.
- Eligible cards connected to your membership should appear automatically.

How to access Card Controls
Beginning August 25:
- Log in to Tampa Bay Federal Online Banking.
- Select the card-management or Card Controls option.
- Choose the eligible card you would like to manage.
- Follow the prompts to select your card settings and alerts.
Important information
- Business debit cards - Business debit cards may not appear automatically. A business account owner will need to manually add the business debit card using the card number.
- Reissued cards - A reissued card that keeps the same card number cannot be activated through Card Controls. Please continue using the existing card-activation process.
- Older or inactive cards - Some members may see an older or inactive card they no longer possess. These cards may be hidden through the Card Controls settings.
Digital card numbers
Digital issuance of a new card number will not be available when Card Controls initially launches. But good news! This feature is expected to be introduced at a later date.
