Traditional annual contributions are $4,000.00 for a single person and $8,000.00 if married, or 100 percent earned income, whatever is less. Thanks to recent tax legislation, annual contributions could increase. Refer to below chart for subsequent year of contributions.

Roth contributions are never tax deductible, dividend penalty free after 5 years holding period.

A tax favored plan to accumulate education funds for child under 18 years of age. Contributions are NOT tax deductible and dividends are tax deferred and may be tax free.
